Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage our contracts and contracts process from pre-award to post-award level.  Candidates must be driven, organized, and work well with multi-functional teams that include management, business development, legal, and engineering.  Ideal candidates will own this process and strive for continued improvements.  This position will be focused on Commercial contracts, but experience with Government contracts is a plus.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Lead teams through the contracts process to ensure the process is being followed and is effective
  • Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute commercial proposals/contracts, as well as special terms and conditions
  • Work with legal for contract review and to create standardized language for new contracts
  • Manage risk in the contract process
  • Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders 
  • Keep up-to-date records of all contract-related documentation and correspondence
  • Manage all Nondisclosure Agreements (NDAs), including drafting or evaluation, negotiation, record keeping, and compliance
  • Monitor and complete Contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in contracts administration or related field such as accounting, finance, or legal
  • Influence and deal tactfully and confidentially with internal and external customers at all organizational levels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understand the legal requirements involved in specific contracts including product sales, software licensing, development agreements, and subcontracts
  • Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
  • Prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks within time constraints 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Work well on multi-functional teams
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Integrity and strong focus on compliance with internal standards and policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
