Job Description:
Project Manager is responsible for managing a variety of projects. This person will report to the Director of Project Management and will work with other Project Managers, Business Development/Program Managers, Engineering Leads, and Customers in their day to day activities. 

•       Work with a cross-functional engineering team to develop custom solutions to meet customer needs
•       Serves as an active manager of projects and is responsible for budget, schedule, and labor for all relevant projects
•       Create, analyze, and implement integrated project schedules and budgets
•       Identify work elements of the projects
•       Schedule the project work elements and determine the resources required for each work element
•       Assign work and follow-up as project demands
•       Work with other project managers to balance resource workloads
•       Works closely with Technical Project Leads to ensure successful execution of projects
•       Coordinates activities to ensure that all projects and deliverables are met on time and within scope
•       Supports Business Development in the ROM/Proposal process by creating budgets, schedules, and labor plans for new opportunities 
•       Scope Management – Ensures scope creep/changes are carefully managed and agreed to by appropriate stakeholders
•       Cost Management - Prepare cost estimates/budgets, track spend, and manage risks
•       Quality Management - Work with project team to ensure quality standards are being met as required by contract or internal standards
•       Communications Management - Ability to effectively communicate project milestones, status, and risks at all levels of the organization
•       Project Progress / Project Monitoring - Track progress to ensure on-time delivery to customers and track costs (EAC vs. plan) 
•       Customer Relations Management - Work closely with customers during project execution

•       5+ years of Technical Project Management experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related area
•       2+ years of Technical Project Management experience with Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related area
•       Applied background in integrating hardware and software components into reliable systems
•       Experience working in Research & Development (R&D) environments is required
•       Experience managing defense projects (required), program of record projects (preferred)
•       Analytical problem solver and strong quantitative thinker who learns quickly
•       Ability to juggle and prioritize competing demands on your time
•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•       Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
•       Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
