Job Description: The Business Development Director of Major Accounts will be joining an aggressive business development team focused on achieving Torc’s strategic goals for growth, revenue and partnerships in the self-driving market.  This role will serve as the business lead for engagement with current and potential customers.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities in the Self-Driving market through research, analysis, industry relationships and tradeshows/conferences
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, writing proposals, negotiating contracts, and integrating with business operations
  • Provide updates to management on execution of strategic plans within the self-driving market 
  • Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing and strategy
 
Qualifications: 
  • 5-7 Years of experience in a business development capacity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology and/or business discipline
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiations skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to represent Torc externally
  • MBA or Masters in Technical Field preferred
  • Experience working within the autonomous vehicle, automotive or public transportation space is preferred 
  • Experience working in foreign countries is preferred
