Electrical Integration Lead

We are seeking an electrical engineer to lead the integration of E/E components and systems into our mobile robotic platforms.
Responsibilities include:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop requirements for the electrical and electronic components of our autonomous vehicles
  • Architect vehicle power and signal distribution systems
  • Participate in safety analysis process, guiding the team’s understanding of potential failure modes of the E/E systems used and potential undesirable interactions
  • Guide the electrical integration of vehicle control modules, sensors, actuators, and IO devices into our autonomous vehicle platforms
  • Review electrical and electronic designs, providing feedback to designers
  • Support component testing and analysis of electronic components
  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting of electrical integration issues that may arise throughout development and deployment
Qualifications include:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with automotive grade electronics or electronics used in other harsh environments (mining, construction, etc.)
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical sensing, actuation, and control systems
  • Familiarity with mobile equipment harnessing best practices and understanding of EMC/EMI in automotive and/or mining environments
  • Experience leading small design teams and working in fast moving, dynamic environments
  • Strong communication skills are required 
  • Experience with Altium Designer, Zuken E3, or similar ECAD software is preferred
  • Familiarity with environmental and reliability testing of electronics is beneficial
Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
