Autonomy Integration Engineer

Torc is looking for an autonomy integration engineer to coordinate the sub-system integration and verification of the robotic systems we develop. 
  • Integration of autonomy software and the underlying electro-mechanical systems required for autonomous vehicle development and deployment
  • Hands on evaluation of robotic system performance, tuning of system parameters, and providing performance feedback to subsystem developers
  • Identifying and troubleshooting undesirable interactions between system components, for both software and hardware sub-systems
  • BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate perception, planning, and control systems for real-world applications
  • Direct experience working with robotic, automotive, or electro-hydraulic systems
  • Basic IP network configuration and troubleshooting experience (routing, VLANs, etc.)
  • Ability to decompose functional behavior of a system into sub component performance
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Strong C++ programming experience is desired
