Test Engineer - Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) Simulation

Torc is looking for an experienced engineer to assist with hardware-in-the-loop test design and implementation.
  • Working with systems, software, and electrical engineers to design hardware in the loop simulation for testing self-driving systems and components
  • Test utility development to enable both full vehicle and bench verification of complex systems
  • Data management and report generation of HIL simulation results
Required skills:
  • Experience using LabView, MATLAB/Simulink, or Python to interface with hardware
  • Understanding of test instrumentation and measurement design
  • Experience with National Instruments, dSPACE, or other hardware systems used HIL simulation and fault injection
  • Analytic mindset and ability to decompose complex systems into verifiable components
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic systems
  • Troubleshooting experience and ability to identify root cause issues
  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related field; or equivalent experience
